10th Annual Mandip Mudhar Memorial Football Tournament
Saturday, July 31 at 9:00 am – 4.00 pm
Vauxhall Recreation Club, 20 Gypsy Lane, Luton, LU1 3JH

 Please join us and play in this annual event now in its landmark 10th year and support the Foundation which was set up by Bobby Mudhar in memory of his brother Mandip who died in a road traffic accident in 2001. When hearing Mandip would not recover consciousness after his accident, his parents made the difficult decision to donate his heart and his kidneys. His heart was received by a middle-aged man and his kidneys went to a young mother on  dialysis and a 14 year old girl.

With the aim of bringing ‘positivity out of tragedy‘, the charity organises various fundraising events including a football tournament every year to raise money for local charities, bringing diverse communities together to break down cultural barriers and to encourage access to careers in sport for disadvantaged groups through partnerships with local colleges and sporting associations, and to raise awareness and importance of organ donation within ethnic minority groups.

  Tournament Details 

 6-a-side tournament on Astroturf                     £65 per team            

Prizes up for grabs this year will be: 
•Winners Cup to keep
•Winners and runners up medals for the entire squad (teams are encouraged to    enter a squad of 10 players)   •Player of the tournament award
•Goalkeeper of the tournament award       •Fair Play team award
•Teams will be provided with water and refreshments together with commemorative photographs.

Payment and registration must be received by Friday 23rd July.
